We're RoofNut, a locally owned roofing, siding, and gutter company proudly serving homeowners across Central Ohio.
Formerly AC Roofing & Siding, we've built our reputation on honest work, quality craftsmanship, and doing right by the people who trust us with their homes.
We've got a different name these days, but our roots, our people, and our standards haven't changed.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
A better roofing experience. That was the idea from day one.
Before RoofNut, there was AC Roofing & Siding. And before that, there was a simple belief: homeowners deserved a better experience when hiring a contractor.
Our founder, Andrew Christensen, didn't take the traditional path into roofing. His career began in finance before he entered the exterior home improvement industry in 2013. Along the way, he saw an opportunity to do things differently.
Too often, homeowners were left chasing updates, sorting through confusing recommendations, or wondering what was happening with their projects.
Andrew believed it didn't have to be that way.
In 2013, he founded AC Roofing & Siding in Columbus, Ohio, with three straightforward principles:
- Do what you say you're going to do.
- Communicate clearly and honestly.
- Take pride in the work you leave behind.
What began as Andrew's vision grew into a locally trusted company, built one project, one relationship, and one neighborhood at a time.
And while the company continued to grow, those original principles never changed.

FROM AC ROOFING & SIDING TO ROOFNUT
A new name. A bigger personality. The same commitment.
As our team grew, we realized something: AC Roofing & Siding no longer told the whole story of who we'd become.
The original name came from Andrew's initials. But over time, the business had grown into something much bigger than one person. It had become a team of people who genuinely enjoyed their craft, cared about their reputation, and wanted to bring a fresh perspective to an industry that sometimes takes itself a little too seriously.
We wanted a name that reflected that personality.
And then came RoofNut.
The name wasn't born in a corporate boardroom or dreamed up by a marketing agency. It came from a conversation with friends and family. Someone said it, everyone liked it, and it stuck.
It's memorable. It's a little unexpected. And it's us.
In 2026, AC Roofing & Siding became RoofNut, marking a new chapter for our company while staying true to everything that got us here.
We're still the same local team, committed to doing exceptional work and making the home improvement experience a whole lot better.
The name is different. The people behind it aren't.
